Before attending law school, Maria was a state licensed private investigator since 1997 and notary public since 1995. Maria was appointed by the Governor to the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners from 2002-2013. She attended law school at Loyola University, College of Law where she earned her J.D. in civil law. Maria is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar and practices law in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
